Dr. Andrew Frey-Gould is the Director of Media, Fine & Performing Arts for the Oceanside Union Free School District on Long Island, New York, where he leads a staff of over 40 music, art, theatre, dance, and media arts teachers, and oversees the district's theatre curriculum and production program for students in grades 5–12. Prior to his current role, he taught high school theatre and elementary music in the Long Beach Public Schools.
A dedicated advocate for theatre education, Dr. Frey-Gould has directed, musically directed, stage managed, and performed in productions across educational, collegiate, regional, and community theatre throughout New York. He is a frequent presenter at state and regional conferences, sharing strategies for theatre education, arts leadership, and educational equity. Dr. Frey-Gould holds degrees in theatre, music education, and special education, and earned his Doctor of Education in Educational Supervision and Administration from St. John's University.
