Fall 2021
Dear Third Year Student,
My name is Gus, and I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on reaching your third year at the NYSTEA Student Conference! Getting to work with the Third Year Ambassadors is one of my favorite things about working at the Student Conference, and I can’t wait to meet you! A ton of incredible things that we offer at our student conference are the result of the Third Years advocating for change. You now are a part of that legacy!
First, to get some business out of the way: all students wishing to return to the Student Conference for a third year must complete this application. I think you’ll find that this application is very simple, but… rules are rules. Don’t try to sneak by! That’s gonna be an awkward phone call!
Also, as part of being a Third Year Ambassador, there are also certain responsibilities that every Ambassador is expected to meet. Take a look at this beautiful table I made.
Behavior Expectations
Mandatory Meetings
Note that by completing your Third Year Ambassador Application, you confirm your agreement to follow each of these expectations. Failure to fulfill these responsibilities may jeopardize your school’s ability to send Third Year Ambassadors to future conferences!
If you have any questions, please email me at [email protected], and I will be happy to assist you!
Warm Regards, Gus
